Physical Therapists

Dr. DeLaRosa (John) joined South Coast Orthopaedics Physical Therapy in September of 2015 as our Clinical Director. He relocated to Oregon from New York.

John received his Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Hunter College of the Graduate Center of the City University of New York. He has a certification as a Schroth Scoliosis Therapist, has had continuing education with the Maitland Australian Approach, the Institute of Physical Art and a variety of manual and neuromuscular techniques. He specializes in Orthopaedic therapy in conjunction with with a wide range of practice with the Neurological and Pediatric populations. As a former high school and collegiate athlete, John blends his therapy with his sports training and variety of experiences in the workforce.

During his off time, he enjoys playing the guitar, sound engineering, skiing, cooking, going to the gym, playing sports of all kinds and trying to soak in (no pun intended) the outdoor adventures of the West Coast.

John brings his therapeutic skills combined with an open, straight-forward approach from New York City to the Oregon Coast. John’s approach addresses the body as a whole. He hopes to help people achieve their goals with confidence and freedom of concern so they can return to their lives enriched with health and wellness.


Amanda began working at South Coast Orthopaedics Physical Therapy after relocating to the west coast of Oregon from Massachusetts in October 2016. She graduated with a Doctorate in Physical Therapy from the University of Massachusetts Lowell in 2015 after obtaining her Bachelor’s degree in Exercise Physiology in 2011. She began her career as a Physical Therapist working at Baystate Mary Lane Hospital in Ware, MA where she worked with a diverse population in both the inpatient and outpatient settings. She then followed her heart and drive for a new adventure on the Oregon Coast. Amanda’s professional interests include various orthopedic conditions and neurological disorders. She especially enjoys working with older adults to improve balance and contribute to fall prevention. Amanda loves the outdoors, and all that Oregon has to offer. She enjoys spending time with her coasty honey, traveling, hiking, and taking her Siberian Husky Kilo to the beaches, waterfalls, and of course the mountains for the snow.


Hilary joined South Coast Orthopaedic Associates Physical Therapy in 2011. She attended Biola University in California where she played soccer earning All-American honors. After graduating with a Bachelor’s degree she continued playing semi-professional soccer for two years. After experiencing some of her own injuries, Hilary pursued an education in physical therapy. She then went on to earn her Physical Therapist Assistant associates degree at Cerritos College, CA in 2009. As a licensed PTA she has experience in sports medicine, outpatient orthopedics, skilled nursing facilities as well as competitive fitness training. Hilary has worked with high school up to professional athlete’s injuries, work injuries, geriatrics and pediatrics. Hilary is happy to be a part of a knowledgeable and thorough team that works together to help people of this community fully recover and return to their work and their lives. In her spare time Hilary enjoys spending time with her husband, Dan and young children as well as running, hiking, fishing and taking the dog to the beach.
