Physical Therapists

Dr. DeLaRosa (John) joined South Coast Orthopaedics Physical Therapy in September of 2015 as our Clinical Director. He relocated to Oregon from New York.

John received his Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Hunter College of the Graduate Center of the City University of New York. He has a certification as a Schroth Scoliosis Therapist, has had continuing education with the Maitland Australian Approach, the Institute of Physical Art and a variety of manual and neuromuscular techniques. He specializes in Orthopaedic therapy in conjunction with a wide range of practice with the Neurological and Pediatric populations. As a former high school and collegiate athlete, John blends his therapy with his sports training and variety of experiences in the workforce.

During his off time, he enjoys playing the guitar, sound engineering, skiing, cooking, going to the gym, playing sports of all kinds and trying to soak in (no pun intended) the outdoor adventures of the West Coast.

John brings his therapeutic skills combined with an open, straight-forward approach from New York City to the Oregon Coast. John’s approach addresses the body as a whole. He hopes to help people achieve their goals with confidence and freedom of concern so they can return to their lives enriched with health and wellness.
